Leather and Lace

This is another look I put together for Poshlocket.  I'm not going to lie.  I've never been one for leather.  Or pleather, fleather, whatever.  Last year, I bought my first jacket.  And I have to say, it does kind of make me feel like a rock star!  But leather pants?  Oh, Lord no.  Shorts?  Maybe.  But a pencil skirt?  Definitely more my language.  This one from beauxx.com has a classic cut, but in an unconventional way.  It's classy, but with a little bit of edge.  To soften the texture, I paired it with a lace top.  And just had to throw on these espadrille platforms.  I may have been feeling as though I looked fierce, however, walking fierce was a whole other story.  Mainly because platforms and I don't mix, because in real life, I'm entirely clumsy.  But as I say in fashion, style before comfort.  Always.  My older sister taught me that.
